Q: What is HDCS?
A: This Higher Diploma in Computer Science (HDCS) course is specially design for the students who sat for their A/L Examination. The course contain is design according to the National and International level standards and it is recommended by all National and International level universities and Professional bodies (BCS). We teach this course syllabus in a simple method though the course covers a broader area.
Q: How do I apply to take the Higher Diploma in Computer Science programe?
A:
1. Select the program you want to study.
2. Face to the selection test.
NOTE: Enrolling through achieving the cut off marks of entrance exam.
4. Ensure that you have read and understood the Student Guide.
5. Register with us.

The teaching process consists with a core process, the teaching and learning itself; this occurs via lectures and associated supervisions, and by practical work. Above that is the feedback and monitoring of this process.
- Lectures and supervisions
In the core process of learning and teaching, other than in practical work, three groups interact: students, lecturers and instructors. The lecturers and Instructors work on behalf of the Institute and are assigned courses by its management on the advice of the Academic Panel. The Academic Panel makes important inputs to the process: At the start of the academic year the Academic Panel make necessary arrangements for Studies Packs, containing full information about examinations, set practical work, and the Year's teaching programme.
- Theory Lectures
Students should participate for theory lessons per each module
- Hands On theory
This is a Lab theory Practical which supervised under the Lab Instructors
- Lab Practical's
Students are responsible to allocate a separate Lab practical hours and extra practical hours from the reception.
- Online Teaching and Learning System
Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Students should register in the VLE to study additional materials, E books, and Lecture notes and to do online quizzes and Assignments.
- Individual and Group Assignments :
In Addition to group assignments you should complete 2 Individual assignments (one assignment for each semester)
- Practical work :
Practical work is a vital part of the teaching process. There are02 kinds. First, there are exercises associated with lecture courses; these are not formally assessed, but play an important part in the interaction between students and Lecturers. Second, there is assessed practical work in the Lab, which contributes to the final examination.
- Workshops and Seminars
It is essential to participate for below mentioned workshops and Seminars. You will have 09 workshops and 04 Seminars during the academic period to enhance your knowledge and as guidance for the personality and future carrier.
- Self study
You have to self study using the VLE online library and the constitutive library for further precise.
- Quick Exercises
Quick exercises are given in both Theory and Practical classes to make continuous studying environment.
- Feedback and monitoring
There are many forms of feedback between the teaching activity and other individuals and groups, including students important feedback is formally recorded. Lecturers typically set and mark the examination questions for their courses.
Q: What is the entrance exam?
A: Entrance exam is a MCQ mode 1 hour IQ Test consist of logical, visual logic, mathematical, and general knowledge questions. The pass mark will be 35%.
Q: When will I get my results after entrance exams?
A: Results will be released after 2 weeks from the examination and we will call upon for scholarship holders in advanced.( Results will be released through www.infortec-international.com web site).
Q: What is the scholarship programe?
A: Scholarships will offer based on the placement tests which conducted by Infortec International Examination unit. If you are qualified enough for a scholarship you will release 85% percentage from your course fee.
Q: Why Programming and Management stream?
A: After the First semester Students can select Programming or Management stream for their second semester according to their future ambitioned.
Q: What is the difference between Full-time course and Part-time course?
A: Full time
Students who wish to follow the full-time basis course will have seven academic months without holidays.

Part time
Students who wish to follow the part-time basis course will have twelve academic months without holidays.
